Born and raised in Manhattan, daughter of Dr. P. Beyond the classroom, she was a pillar of faith in the Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish Sacred Heart and St. Francis in Newburgh, NY. Her roles included serving as a Eucharistic minister, RCIA instructor and Director, and Catechist. Sandra's faith and dedication to her community extended to delivering Meals on Wheels, and volunteering at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh, NY, and St. Vincent DePaul Society at Sacred Heart Church.

In 1971, Sandra married James Corsetti, and together they built a life filled with love and deep commitment. Sandra was not only a dear wife but also a nurturing mother and grandmother. She had an adoration for reading and studying scripture, and she found great joy in baking for her family. Known for her kind and loving nature, Sandra never had a bad word to say about anyone and touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Sandra Corsetti leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and dedication. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the community she so selflessly served. Sandra personally loved the following poem and wanted to share it with her family and friends.

"Do not Stand At My Grave And Weep" by Claire Harner

Do not stand

By my grave, and weep.

I am not there,

I do not sleep-

I am the Thousand winds that blow

I am the diamond glints in snow

I am the sunlight on ripened grain,

I am the gentle, autumn rain

As you awake with morning's hush,

I am the swift up-flinging rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight,

I am the day transcending soft night.

Do not stand

By my grave, and cry-

I am not there

I did not die.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Nora Cronin Presentation Academy, Newburgh NY or St. Vincent DePaul Society at Sacred Heart Church Newburgh, NY.
