Marilyn Kimball McMahon, a former New Windsor, NY resident, entered into eternal rest on September 12, 2024 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, FL. She was 90 years old.

The daughter of the late Samuel E. Kimball and Mabel (Culver) Kimball, Marilyn was born on June 12, 1934 in Newburgh, NY.

She attended and graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1952. After raising her family Marilyn worked for 20 years at the “Rainbow Center for Children”, Nursery School, in New Windsor, NY., where she loved the 20 years she spent working with children.

A family statement reads: “She was the heart of our family, was the greatest person that ever lived, never had an unkind thing to say about anyone and would make friends wherever she went. She loved to play golf and just being outdoors, would prefer to sit on the patio or porch even when it was raining. She played the piano for years, loved to sing and even cut a record when she was younger. Marilyn loved her family and would always put others’ needs in front of her own. She loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren taking great interest in following their lives. She taught us all to live our lives with love, patience and understanding of others. While we believe she is with God and in better place, she will be missed greatly by all of us.”

Marilyn is survived by her loving family and beloved husband: Harold McMahon, Jr. at home; her daughter: Karen (McMahon) Bidosky and her husband Jake of Stuart, FL; her son: Kevin McMahon and his wife Sherry of Venice, FL; her 6 grandchildren: Mikki Poublon and her husband TJ, Jason McMahon and his wife Ariunna, Kristen Wall and her husband Dan, Andy McMahon, Callie Pruell and her husband Mike, Jake Bidosky and his wife Erin.
