Madge Weltzien Sadowski - Class of 1965

 Madge B. Weltzien Sadowski,
of New Windsor, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. She was 77.
Daughter of the late Robert and Fanny M. (Schnitzler) Weltzien, she was born
September 16, 1947 in Newburgh, NY.
Madge was a retired secretary with William A. Smith & Sons, Newburgh, NY.
A lifelong area resident, Madge was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in
Newburgh. She was an avid reader, and she enjoyed computer word games. She also
loved cats.
Survivors include four stepdaughters, Christine (Chris Love) Sadowski, of
Cornwall, Jill (Kevin) Costello of Rosendale, NY, Deanne Skivington of Rock
Tavern, NY and Jayme (Donald) Weis of Lutz, FL; one sister, Barbara (Al)
Contarino of Covina, CA; fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren with
two on the way; two nieces a one nephew of CA.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Sadowski in 2021.
Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory. Plans for a service
will be announced at a later date.
