Submitted by Domenick Colotti 48 <dcolotti@hvc.rr.com> Message: Salvatore Cracchiolo Jr. of Newburgh, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, N.J. He was 41. Son of Salvatore and Gloria Huebel Cracchiolo Sr., he was born on July 2 1965 in Newburgh. Salvatore was a 1983 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was currently the secretary of the Newburgh Chapter of U.N.I.C.O. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Deborah Westfall and her husband, Michael of Newburgh; paternal grandmother, Mary Cracchiolo; aunts and uncles, Mari and Robert Fisher, Isabella and Robert Mackey, Dorothy and Robert Lanspery, Vito and Stephanie Cracchiolo, Charles and Theresa Baker; nephews, Michael and Ryan Westfall; and many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Vito Cracchiolo Sr.; maternal grandfather, Winifred J. Huebel; maternal grandparents, Rose and Howard McKibbon; and uncles, Robert M. Huebel and Louis J. Gizzarelli Sr. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 25 at St. Mary's Church, Newburgh. Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Warwick.
