Ida Rolnick Besso of Newburgh, NY entered into rest on Monday, June 6, 2011 at Elant at Middletown. She was 97 years old. The daughter of the late Hyman and Anna Levinson Rolnick she was born in Newburgh, NY on October 25, 1913. She was married to the late Milton Besso. Ida was Co-owner of Besso's Jewelers & Antiques. Survivors include two sons-in-law, Micheal Reis of New Windsor and Steve Cowan of NC; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Ida was predeceased by two daughters, Joann Reis and Victoria Cowan. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 7 at 11 a.m. in Congregation Agudas Israel Cemetery, Erie Ave., New Windsor, NY. Burial will be at Congregation Agudas Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Elant at Middletown, 46 Harriman Dr., Goshen, NY 10924.
