I moved to PR in 1981 and been living here since but I plan to go
back to the States in a couple of years. I miss home. Kids are all grown up
and grand children are also growing, my oldest is 24 and she will be
graduating from Politecnica in PR as a engineer, the youngest are my twins,
Alex and Karina they are 5 and in Kindergarten, I have 9 grand children. I
hope we have a class reunion again, miss seen friends that we never forget.
I'm living here in Austin, TX with Kathy, my wife, 42 years. Not sure if I can make
the reunion but I'm gonna try. I've attached a couple of pic's of me and Kathy the other one is Leghorns run by Mrs. Leghorn. we all got some candy and other
treats there. Plus a picture of me in 1945 (what a get up) and a picture of one of my grandsons Justan, as well as my wife Kathy.
I've been semi retired since 2000. I'm currently
doing wine and cheese promotions (someone has too!!) to keep somewhat busy.
I also do loads of charity work and I'm currently Grand Knight of our parish
Knights of Columbus. Kathy and I love cruising, when we get time. We went to
all the nice places that you can't go to anymore because of the insane world
we live in. Don't want to get started on any political rant!!! Since NFA,
I've been all over the globe. After graduating with a BBA from Eastern New
Mexico Univ. I went to work for the Public Service Company of New Mexico as
a Management Trainer and spent 7 yrs with the company. In 1981, I was hired
by the Arabian American Oil Company in Saudi Arabia (ARAMCO) and retired
after 20 yrs (another story). We moved to Cedar Park (outside Austin) and
have been here ever since. We have two adult children (sometimes!!) Jennifer
31 and lives in Austin and Stan 41 lives in Avandale, AZ with his wife and
my two grandson's Tristan 5 and Justan 1. Anyway, that's the short
version I could write a book on my life in Saudi Arabia, but who would be
interested. It was a better simpler time to be overseas until the first Gulf
War. We lived in Dhahran (near the airport) so we had ring side seats, along
with gas masks, SCUD missiles, Patriots to shoot them down and oil fires
that turned summer into winter. I worked as a Management Developer to mostly
Saudi supervisors, yes I learned to speak Arabic, gained an understanding of
the religion and culture. I need to do this to better educate more to my
students. We, along with other families hosted our Marines on weekends at
our home, to give these young scared but very brave young Marines a taste of
back home cooking. ARAMCO was also given permission by the US gov. and
commanding general, to allow many of us Americans to visit the Marines on
the front line. We cooked them loads of BBQ, played football and other
sports which helped morale. Hell, I'm starting to ramble!!

I am the daughter of Ann Elizabeth Sheeler and am trying to find out
information. Mom died November 2006 but we recently found a tape of her
recollections. She talks about Newburgh High School and boyfriend Calvin
Sloan who was 2 years older.( I see he died in 1995 in Florida but don't
know what he did) Also best friend Mary Jack(s)? Mom went to St George's
Church and was in the choir, took dance lessons from Ms. Wilson and piano
from Ms. Fletcher. Any other info from classmates would be appreciated. Mom
had to move before her senior year to Syracuse. Her father was with the
Coldwell Lawnmower Company. Please email if you have any thing to add.
Thanks.

Great site Bill, just found it yesterday (4/6/13). Looking back through the
yearbook certainly stirred up some memories. I see a couple of other
classmates have wondered the same as me about a 40th reunion. Amazing how
the past 40 years have just flown by.
I would like to get in touch with a few people in the class.

Bill Norvell has done such an excellent job creating and working on this
website .I challenge anyone to find another school with access to so much
material/pictures/memories online that we have. Any reunion pictures would
greatly be appreciated here, on this site, and only enhance Bill's efforts. I
was unable to attend the picnic or icebreaker due to the extensive flooding
in Pa. this past week. So, to whom this may concern, "Please consider
posting any class reunion pictures here and not only on Facebook." Not all
of us have a facebook page, making it impossible to view any photos.
Thank You again, Bill.

Message: Biography (From: www.pkassociates.com ) Peter Klein founded PK
Associates on the belief that fact-based, information-driven insights,
need-to-do analytics, and the proven experience of a proven 'seniors-only' team
will meaningfully benefit client's in more predictably growing, managing and
leading their businesses. From March, 2001 through September, 2005, Mr. Klein
was Senior Vice President and Corporate Officer of The Gillette Company,
responsible for Strategy, Planning, Business Development and Global Marketing
Resources; reporting to the Chairman/CEO. He left Gillette after
change-in-control following the sale of Gillette to Procter & Gamble, which he
actively participated in. Previously he was Executive Vice President and
Corporate Officer of Strategy, Business Development, Marketing Services and
Global e-Business at Nabisco Holdings Corp. from January 1998 through December,
2000; and departed Nabisco, along with other senior executives, following
Nabisco's public auction and sale to Phillip Morris/Kraft Foods in late
December, 2000. Mr. Klein came to Nabisco with about 12 years of consumer
product company experience and 17 years of management consulting experience. He
directed Nabisco s long-term strategy, assured the alignment of corporate
strategies with operating unit and functional group plans, developed and
implemented cross-company internal and external business development
(acquisitions, divestitures, licensing, JV's), and directed integrated marketing
intelligence, marketing services (i.e., market research, consumer promotion,
media buying) and global e-Business. He also directed the Nabisco acquisition of
United Biscuit (voted European Deal of the Year in 2000) and the auction of
Nabisco (largest auction of a U.S.-based public company and voted U.S. Deal of
the Year in 2000). Mr. Klein joined Nabisco from The Cambridge Group, where he
was a Partner & Managing Director for 7 years of its east coast office, which he
opened in 1991. Prior to joining The Cambridge Group, he was a senior partner
for 10 years at Marketing Corporation of America, where he led the Consumer
Products management consulting practice. Before consulting, he worked in line
sales, marketing and business development at Sterling Drug (Vice President,
Business Development), The Gillette Company (Director of Marketing & Sales for
Braun North America and Group Marketing Manager in Personal Care), Johnson &
Johnson (Consumer Trade Promotion and Marketing), and Richardson-Merrell (Field
& Headquarter Sales). Mr. Klein was educated at Syracuse University (B.S. in
Marketing & Finance) and Harvard Business School (MBA) and holds two U.S.
patents. He is on the academic advisory board at Syracuse University s Whitman
School of Management. Peter retired from the Braun AT board of directors in
Germany and the advisory board of the business school at North Carolina A&T. He
currently provides 'of counsel, advisory' consultative services to CEO's and
senior executives on an annual retainer basis (e.g., 2 days/month), and speaks
and facilitates worksessions across a number of business management and process
topics (on a per diem basis), based on his strategic and hands-on experience
working for blue chip public companies as well as management consultancies.
Advertising Age on October 3, 2005 recognized Mr. Klein as one of "10
Innovators", including a 2-page article on him. THEDEAL.COM wrote a feature
article on Mr. Klein on their May 11, 2007 website and repeated it in their July
8, 2007 hard copy magazine issue. Both articles are re-printed below, following
Mr. Klein's acquisition experience. Mr. Klein published articles and has spoken
on topics such as growth management, innovation, cross-functional business
teams, acquisition, new product development, private label, business success
factors and the sale of the Nabisco and Gillette companies. PK ASSOCIATES is
located in Naples, FL. Mr. Klein has worked on 40+ acquisition transactions over

Thanks Bill for the posting of the North Junior High Yearbook of 1965. What was
said by many in that book on "what they might become" was very prophetic. I said
I was going into radio or tv in that yearbook. Sure enough, I went into the
Cable TV industry. I own my own training company that trains Cable TV Techs. I
am adjunct professor at the University of Denver. I have two sons. I am a

Here I am visiting Sequoia National Park in CA. I have been a
traveler since working at WFMN 103.1 Radio Newburgh (WGNY-FM/WJGK-FM in late
2010) in my Senior year. I have been to all states and 19 countries.
2008-02-20 Man, 40 Years! Me, married for 32 years. 2 sons. I never got past 5'2" in
height. 2 inches tall enough to be drafted! College, Graduate School and 39
years in the same industry (Cable TV). My wife and I live in Denver, CO.. We
plan to be back in Newburgh in 2009 for the 300th year of the founding of the
city (I was at the 250th celebration). Thanks Bill. This is a great site!!!.

Class of 1967-love the website. It is so nice to keep up with classmates in
future years. Sorry we didn't make our 40th class reunion, hopefully we'll
make the next one. Rocky McElroy and I are still married. We moved from
Newburgh to the west coast of Florida in 1992. So far so good.
What a fabulous website and a lot of work-Thanks. I am presently living in
a Columbus, Ohio suburb. Spent a lot of years in Broadcasting and Sports
Marketing which caused us (my husband David of 27 years) to move around a
lot. Probably the most fun was working for the Red Sox Network in Boston
(sorry Yankees fans). We moved to Ohio about 6 years ago to be close to
David's daughter and grandkids AND leave Florida. Still like the 4 seasons
better than Palm trees. Since that was the year the NHL went on strike, job
possibilities here went south...but I've reinvented myself (again) and now
have been involved in the new construction industry doing sales in a model
home for the last 5 years. If you're interested in any more, check out my facebook page-Love to hear from old friends.
I just enjoyed looking at my class of 1966 photos. What a wonderful job you
have done with this site. I found it by accident and I am very pleased. I am
semi-retired and have recently moved to Cape Cod after living in and around
NYC for the last 40 years. I have 2 grown sons and became a grandpa a few
days ago. My best wishes to all involved with this.

teaching photography for 30 years at Orange Coast College in S.C. Hope
to come through Newburgh August 17-18. Like to visit some nostalgic
spots...but need a map to know my way around, I'm afraid.
Previous signing 2008-04-10 Hi '56ers! Glad to see not much action on
the Memorial Page for us in the last year or so. Hang in there! I am
still stargazing from a rural California location about 200 mi. north of
LA. Been lucky to travel to Australia and Holland during 2008. 5
grandkids now (and that's it I hope!)... Come by if you get to central
California. Hope to make it back East this summer and come to Newburgh.

midsummer148@hotmail.com Hello
to friends from Class of 65 and St. Patrick's Class of 61 My husband Warren
(Cornwall High School, Class of 65), and I moved back to this area in 1978,
after the birth of our first son. We've been living in Cornwall ever since, and
from time to time, run into old friends from NFA. I'm a retired teacher and
although Warren is retired as well, he got a little restless and is now teaching
at Storm King School, part time. We spend most of the summer at Cape Cod and
when he retires for good, we hope to move there full time.
Would have been class of '70.quit to join the Army. Classmates included
Kathy Zgrodek, Carlyle Croyle, Michelle Decaterina. If anyone knows of these
people please reply to

I recently visited Antone & Margaret Aquino at their home in Calabash, North
Carolina. Antone was a music teacher (Mr Aquino) at NFA from 54 - 69, with a
true passion for teaching. While there we were lucky to get to a Long Bay
Symphony Orchestra concert (Antone is on the Board). Great performance of
Dvorak's 8th Symphony. After the concert they went to "Chianti South"
restaurant for a great dinner. Many of you probably remember Chianti
restaurant when it was in Newburgh. - really great! They also got to know
their dog Chelsea (Greyhound rescue dog-retired after racing) - amazing,
loving animal. Such wonderful hospitality in Calabash. Antone & Margaret
would love to hear from you too at
aaquino124@atmc.net
Antone & Margaret were my mentors in becoming a music teacher. Fifty
years later I think of them every time I cash a retirement check - different
angle then when you're 15 years old. Antone finished his career in Salem
State College in Mass. There is a scholarship in his honor at Salem State.
If you're interested contact me (Dotty) at
bcamenga@gmail.com or write
directly to Alumni Development Dept., Salem State 01970.
