NFA, the high school that thinks its a college. It's true. NFA has student parking, Two lecture halls, a planetarium, a television station, an atrium, two gymnasiums and an "open campus". All that was lacking were campus dorms.
This education model began at NFA back in the mid 1960's (a time when everything in America it seemed, began to go wrong). Also when The City of Newburgh School system consolidated the schools in neighboring Towns of Town of Newburgh and New Windsor. Then School Superintendent Harold Munson sought to put NFA "on the map" with this and was an early advocate of massively increased school/property taxes to pay for this experiment.
