Kerra Lynn McKoy - Class of 2015

Kerra Lynn McKoy, a lifelong resident of Newburgh, NY,
passed away suddenly at home on Friday, June 21, 2024. She
was 27.
She was born in Valhalla, NY on February 11, 1997 and grew
up in Newburgh. Kerra graduated in 2015 from Newburgh Free
Academy, where she participated in the school's ROTC
program.
Kerra will be remembered for her creative spirit as a young
woman of countless talents. Her works never failed to make
others smile. She took great interest in hobbies such as
drawing, singing, writing, dancing, anime, swimming, and
photography.
She is survived by her mother, Cate McKoy; her siblings,
Cassandra McKoy, Shelby Aho, Rob McKoy, and Connor McKoy;
her uncle, Richard Aho; her nieces & nephews, Marley,
Alex, Nate, and Abby; her fiance, Christian Benitez; as well
as many other loving relatives & friends.
Kerra was predeceased by her grandparents.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 6:30pm on Friday, June 28
at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main
Street, Fishkill, NY. Personal remembrances will be shared
beginning at 6:30pm.
