    Marion James Morris - Class of 1960 - Funeral Service for Marion E. Morris were held on March 5, 2024 at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Morris passed away on February 28, 2024 at her home. Born on August 11, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Ferguson James. Marion was the devoted and loving wife of the late Odis A. Morris.

Marion was a talented seamstress who enjoyed her work until the age of 58 when she suffered a stroke. Although she was originally confined to a wheelchair, she swam and built the strength to walk again. Marion always had a love of swimming but after the birth of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews the time in the pool became precious as the memories made were everlasting. She also enjoyed antique and thrift store shopping.

Surviving are her daughters, Melissa M. Vesely, Debbie M. Woloszynowski, Kim M. Gonzales; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Marion is also survived by a brother, John James; sisters, Nancy Douglas, Peggy James Pietroforte, Cindy Lynch; and sister in law, Gina James. Preceding her in death is a brother, Joseph James; sister in law, Denise James; brother in law, Leo Pietroforte; and passing two days following Marion is her brother in law, Rick Lynch.
