Donna Coutant Harrison - Class of 1956

    Donna M. Harrison, 86, of New Windsor, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. The daughter of the late Harrison and Katherine (Moore) Coutant, she was born on August 2, 1938 in Newburgh. She was married to the late Duke Harrison, who predeceased her in 2004.

Donna enjoyed her family and loved to cook during the holidays. She enjoyed the beach and boating with her husband Duke. Donna was known by many as feisty and sometimes angry but at the end always kind with a hearty laugh and pokes.

She is survived by her children: Jay Harrison and his wife Linda, Jill DelVillano and her husband Biagio, and Judi Harrison; her grandchildren: Kyle Harrison, Lyndsey Coppins and her husband Stephen, Kaylyn Riley, Tanner Slutzky, Sarah Slutzky and Elizabeth Slutzky; and great-grandchildren: Lyndsey Coppins children - Sawyer and Duke Coppins; and Sarah Slutzky's children - Capri and Junie DiFalco.

Visitation will be held from 12 pm - 2 pm on Friday, January 17 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, with a prayer service at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor.
