Albert "John" Perkowski III - Class of 1974

   Albert "John" Perkowski III - Albert peacefully entered into eternal rest on January 24th, he was 68 years old. Albert was born on April 14th 1956 to Albert "Al" Perkowski II and Fay "Christina" Perkowski in Newburgh, NY.

Albert, better known as "John" or "Johnny," was a jack of all trades. He specialized in roofing, framing, siding, general carpentry and masonry. Many of his projects can be seen just by driving through his hometown in Marlboro, NY, and the surrounding areas. Albert held a high standard for his work. He was known to take all of his children with him on his projects, allowing them to get their hands dirty, and pushing them, especially his sons, to learn the craft and learn it well.

Albert is survived by his loving children, John and Kelly (daughter-in-law), Tanya and Michael Perkowski. Three grandchildren; Emily, Charlie and Christopher Perkowski. Albert is also survived by his younger sister, Susan Gaffney, and her children, Kristy, Ashley and Eddie Gaffney, as well as Kristy's son, James Theodore Webber, niece Amanda Kodilanen and her son, Kristopher Kodilanen. He was predeceased by his mother and father, sister, Christy Kodilanen, brother, Jeffrey Perkowski, his beautiful daughter, Kari Perkowski, and the love of his life and mother of his children, Cynthia McNeil.

Albert was an honorable man who would do anything for his family. He will be remembered for his selflessness and unconditional love.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday January 29th from 5:00-8:00 PM at the DiDonato Funeral Home 1290 Route 9W Marlboro NY 12542

A Mass of Christian burial will occur on Thursday January 30th at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church 1209 Route 9W Marlboro NY 12542
