Grace Barrar DiCesare - Class of 1942

Anita Barrar DiCesare, 98, of Ft Walton Beach, FL, formally of Newburgh, N.Y,
passed away on, Monday, April 25, 2022. The daughter of the late Ralph and
Elvira Fracasse Barrar, she was born April 2, 1924, in Syracuse, NY. Grace
married her 8th grade sweetheart, Vito P DiCesare Sr. She worked for JCPenney's
for many years, first in furniture and appliances and later in Customer Service
in the warehouse. Grace moved to Ft Walton Beach in 1994 where she worked as a
food demonstrator at Sam's Club well into her 80s. She was loved by customers
and coworkers alike and made many friends while there. Grace was a loving wife,
mother and grandmother. She loved having family for large Sunday dinners and
making fudge and her famous whipped cream cake for special occasions. She
enjoyed working in her flower garden, trips to the casino and was an avid bingo
player. Survivors include her sons, Vito P (Patricia) DiCesare Jr of Newburgh
and Patrick DiCesare of Central Valley and her daughter, Nancy (Gary) Hunt of Ft
Walton Beach; grandchildren, Christopher (Rita) DiCesare, Nicole (Todd) Dauchy,
Melissa DiCesare, Shep (Nicole) DiCesare, Jesse (Deanna) Hunt, Dylan (Amy) Hunt
and Stacey Young; great-grandchildren, Susan DiCesare, Matthew DiCesare, Megan
(Eric) Murphy, Bryan (Taylor) Dauchy, Hudson DiCesare, Emily and Elliot
DiCesare, Jenna and April Hunt,and Scarlett Young; great-great-grandchildren,
Sylvie Gonzalez, Raylan and Riley Murphy and Sebastian Dauchy, plus several
nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, and sisters,
Virginia Borbas and Elvira Barrar and brother-in- Laws, Joseph DiCesare and
Joseph Borbas. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 1st, at
11:00am at Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor, NY.
