Nicholas Cappello, Jr., of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Friday,
March 14, 2025. He was 84.
Son of the late Nicola and Carmela (Maffei)
Cappello, he was born August 4, 1940 in Newburgh, NY.
A lifelong Newburgh
resident, he was a retired lab technician for GAF, Vails Gate, NY. He belonged
to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Fostertown Congregation.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Cappello-MacDonald of Fishkill, and
Camille Cappello-Chapman of Wappingers Falls; a sister, Yvonne Terwilliger of
the Town of Newburgh and, grandchildren, Lauren, James Jr., John Jr., Scott,
Kenneth, and Deona; several great grandchildren, nieces and a nephew.
In
addition to his parents he was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Ciccarelli; and
siblings, Sandra Moschetto, Angelo Cappello, Philomena and Andrew Cappello.
Arrangements are private and at the convenience of the family.
