Lt. Col. Robert E Sager (Ret) - Class of 1950

Robert Edward Sager, Lt. Colonel U.S. Air Force, ret., aged 92, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025. Originally from Newburgh, NY, Robert obtained a BS (Univ. of WYO, Laramie) and a MS (Univ. of MO, Columbia) in Electrical Engineering. He was a Master Navigator in the USAF earning the Distinguished Flying Cross. He served in Vietnam (1971-1972). After retirement from the Military, he worked for RCA/GE as a Project Manager. An avid fisherman, his favorite place to cast was the Ashokan Reservoir. Hobbies he enjoyed were Poker, Rummikub, travel and piloting small aircraft. "Bob" is predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Barbara (Myers) Sager. He is survived by his brother John Sager (Carole), and his children Daniel Sager (Robin), Deborah Pardi, Susan Brown and Linda Scialabba (Tony), five grandchildren, Joseph Sager (Erin), Carolyn Alloway (Brian), Anne Marie Springer (Mark), Timothy Pardi and Samantha Brown, along with several nieces and nephews and nine great grandchildren that he adored. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 2:00pm followed by a service at 3:30pm, at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ, 08054. Interment at Washington Crossing National Cemetery is private.
