Although Henrietta was born in Fitzgerald, GA, she grew up in Newburgh and attended Newburgh Free Academy. She worked as a nurse's aide and home health aide. She was a professional caregiver who took care of family members.
Henrietta enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing bingo, and dancing. She was also an excellent cook, with her specialty being a favorite crock pot Stew. Her favorite snacks were Lorna Doones, and she often sent her son Terry to the store to purchase them. She even got the nurse at the facility where she resided to purchase Lorna Doones.
If you knew her, then you knew one of her favorite phrases was "child, please!" When family members visited, as they were getting ready to leave, she would send them off with a "God bless you!" Henrietta's favorite songs were "Jesus I Love Calling Your Name" by Shirley Caesar and "I'll Be Ready" by Yolanda Adams.
Henrietta will be missed by family and friends. Her final resting place will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers: Nashon Burden, Adrian Hargrove, Deandre Connors, and Mark Mallory (grandchildren) 07/28/1952 - 06/22/2024
