Antoinette (Cimorelli) Wida passed away at Garnet Medical Center, Middletown, NY, after a brief illness at the remarkable age of 100. Prior to her illness she was previously a short time resident of Braemar Assisted Living, in Wallkill, NY.

Antoinette (Toni) was born March 23, 1925 to Charles Cimorelli Sr. and Antoinette Ercolano in New Windsor, NY. Her parents had immigrated from Isernia, Italy in the 1910's, along with her oldest brother Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings; Antoinette (infant), Nicholas, James, Fannie (Filomena), Gus (Cosmo), Ann, and Charles Jr. Antoinette was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy (NFA) and the Spencerian Business School. She was employed as a bookkeeper at several Newburgh businesses, including the family business of Newburgh Concrete Block Company. During World War II she was an active member of the Newburgh USO.

Antoinette was married on May 25, 1952 to Paul Wida of Wapwallopen, PA, who was serving at Stewart Air Force Base. Her husband was a Navy combat veteran of World War II, and an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. She was a lifelong resident of Newburgh except for the periods that her husband was assigned to other duty stations prior to retiring from the Air Force. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul and widowed for many years. She is survived by her only child, son Paul Joseph, Daughter-In-Law Tae Sun (Bobbi), Grandson Nicholas, as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews. Antoinette, along with her sister Ann Peel, were longtime active members of the City of Newburgh's Club 60. Antoinette was deeply committed to her family, and she always cherished her time with family and friends, particularly around the holidays. The family dinners created by her Mother, her, and her sisters were legendary.

The family wishes to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the physicians and nursing staff of Garnet Medical Center for the caring and compassion that they provided Antoinette during her illness.
