Submitted by Fran Olson Gustafson 1965 <fgustafson917@gmail.com> on 09/May/2025 71.223.72.151

Ryan P. Crossley, beloved husband, father, son, uncle, and friend, passed away
peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, May 8, 2025. He was 46 years young.
Born on October 19, 1978, in Newburgh, NY, Ryan was the cherished son of
Regina and the late Douglas V. Crossley. He was predeceased by his father; his
grandparents, Dr. James and Regina Flannery and Alfred and Althea “B” Crossley;
and his father-in-law, Frank Galli.
Ryan is survived by his loving wife,
Francesca, and their beloved children, Ella Shea and Alexander Douglas. He is
also survived by his mother, Regina; his sister, Katie; his brother, Colin, and
sister-in-law Casie; and his niece and nephew, Mia and Rory Crossley. Also
mourning his loss are his mother-in-law, Angela Galli; sisters- and
brothers-in-law, Jaime Livoti, Christina Prego (Andrew), and Alisha
Galli-Occhipinti (Frank); niece Brianna Livoti; and nephews Andrew and Luke
Prego as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graduate of Newburgh
Free Academy, Ryan attended Orange County Community College. From a young age,
he was passionate about sports, playing baseball, soccer, tennis, and
golf—interests that continued throughout his life. He treasured time spent with
friends and family on the golf course and enjoyed countless hours boating and
fishing on Lake George. It was there, on the water, that he proposed to
Francesca—an unforgettable moment in the place he loved most. Years later, he
delighted in sharing that love of the outdoors with Ella and Alex, teaching them
to fish, swing a golf club, tubing on the lake, and enjoying rides on his Kubota
tractor and many pieces of construction equipment.
Following in the
footsteps of his father and grandfather, Ryan entered the construction industry
and joined his father at Crossley Associates. He worked as a project
superintendent for Sciame Construction in New York City for a decade before
returning home to start his own company, Crossley Enterprises. His
entrepreneurial spirit continued with the creation of BayView Dock Builders in
Lake George, and as a regional dealer and installer for Basta Boatlifts. Through
these ventures, Ryan combined his talents for building and design with his deep
appreciation of the outdoors.
A lifelong member of The Powelton Club in
Newburgh, Ryan learned to play golf and tennis there as a child and later served
for many years on the Board of Directors. Some of his fondest memories were made
on the course with close friends. He was also a past member of the Newburgh
Yacht Club where he enjoyed early season fishing and boating on the Hudson with
family and friends.
Ryan will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving
father, uncle, and loyal friend who was taken from us far too soon. His absence
leaves a profound void in the lives of all of us who loved him.
In lieu
of flowers, donations may be made in Ryan’s memory to the Lake George
Association, P.O. Box 408, Lake George, NY 12845.
Please keep the family in your prayers.
