was born in Ft. Myers, FL on 09 JUN 1943 to John J. Clydesdale II and Barbara
Bates. After his father returned from the service, the young family moved to
Newburgh, NY where the Clydesdale family had lived for many generations.
Jack attended NFA, graduated in 1961. Shortly after that he joined the Marine
Corps. He was a very proud and succesful Marine.
On 20 OCT 1972 Jack
married MaryAlice Mangan in St. Mary's Church in Newburgh.
Jack worked
for IBM as a Computer Engineer for 30 years then he and MaryAlice retired to Sun
City Hilton Head in Bluffton, SC in 2008. Jack is survived by his wife of 53
years, MaryAlice, and his two sisters; Barbara Farkas (Robert) of Rock Hill, NY
and Jeri McCormick of Ashville, NC.
