Bonnie L Thompson Sculco, 68, of Newburgh, died on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. Born January 17, 1957 in Newburgh, New York, she was the daughter of Thomas Thompson and Leona Stanford Thompson. Bonnie worked as an LPN at Sylcox Nursing Home and at TASA, a program to aide and support young mothers, until her retirement. Bonnie was an avid baker and home cook, carrying on traditions and recipes she learned from her Nanny. She enjoyed teaching her granddaughters how to cook when they came to visit. Bonnie was known for her feisty nature and rough exterior, but she had a soft heart. She would help anyone in need. But above all she loved her family and friends. She could meet anyone and have a conversation with them.
