John A. Parker - Class of 1966

         John A. Parker, of Newburgh, entered into rest on Thursday, June 5, 2025. He was 77.

He was born July 10, 1947 in Poughkeepsie, NY.

A long time area resident he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1972 attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant, serving in both Vietnam and Korea. John was a retired District Manager for Endicott Johnson Shoe Co., Binghamton. He enjoyed dancing, dining out and shopping. If you knew John, you knew you could always find him at Marshalls.

He is survived by his longtime companion Michie Ranzanici of the Town of Newburgh, her two children that John was like a father to, Michelle (Anthony) Cubito and Anthony (Robyn) Ranzanici; granddaughter, Giana Cubito; aunts Vikki Palkovic and Nat Palkovic; along with many cousins and dear friends.

Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory.

A Celebration of John’s Life will be Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh, NY 12550.

A private burial at the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be held at a later date.
