Marilyn Sinnamon Lannon - Class of 1956, age 87, NEWARK - passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

There will be no services at this time.

Friends may contribute to the Humane Society of Yates County-Shelter of Hope in Marilyn's memory.

Marilyn was born February 26, 1938 in Newburgh, N.Y., the daughter of the late Lynwood Sr. and Emma Sinnamon. When her children were young she held various leadership roles in the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. For many years Marilyn worked at Clearplass in Phelps and PennYan. Later she worked as a home health aide at the Homestead in PennYan. She loved the Finger Lakes, sitting by the lake enjoying a cold beer in a glass. Marilyn enjoyed knitting, sewing, crochet and gardening.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Kurt (Heidi) Lannon Jr., Deborah (Daniel) Rockefeller, Shelly Lannon, and Marcella (Jeff Woodard) Lannon; grandchildren, Eric (Whitney) Rockefeller, Ryan (Tina) Rockefeller, Jeremy (Colleen) Lannon, and Emma (Jake) Grace; great grandchildren, Asahel Rockefeller, Lillian Rockefeller, CJ Lannon, Cal Lannon, and baby boy Rockefeller due in July; siblings, Rowland (Mary) Sinnamon, Jerry Sinnamon; sister in law, Thalia Sinnamon.

Marilyn is predeceased by her parents and brother, Lynwood Sinnamon Jr.
