 Dara Rachel Girsch Sommerfeldt, of Anderson, South Carolina born on February 9,1987, in Newburgh, NY, passed away August 14, 2024.
An avid animal lover, she was known as a kind and caring person who enriched the lives and businesses of those she was associated with. She enrolled in Suny Oswego and Santa Fe College where she graduated with a B.S. in Zoology.
She was taken too soon from this world.
She is leaving behind a husband that she adored, Scott Sommerfeldt of Belton, SC, her animals, her mother, Lee Girsch of New Windsor, NY, her brother, Jeremy Girsch (Caitlin) of Rocky Mount, VA, nephews, Noah & Grayson of Rocky Mount, VA. She is also survived by her uncle and aunt, Alan & Karen Reznik of Wappingers Falls NY, her cousin, Justin Reznik of Arizona, and her extensive Sommerfeldt family.
We miss you deeply, Dara.
