Matilda L. Saffioti passed away peacefully Sunday July 20. She was born September 11,1927 in Newburgh NY....She is predeceased by her loving husband Cosmie R. Saffioti, and her son Gary and her sisters Margaret Townsend, Ida Bauer and her brother Hazelton Kerr -sister in laws Ann Becker and Rose Delar And her nephew Donald Becker....

Tillie worked at Ann's Hallmark stores for many years always with a smile on her face...She had a special zest for life and was kind to everyone...She was active and had many friends Family was everything to her and loved to entertain and welcomed all.... Her favorite saying was KEEP A GO ...and she did up to her last day! She was the matriarch of the family and will be truly missed.

She leaves behind her sons Jack Saffioti, his wife Jan, Cos Saffioti wife Susan, her grandchildren, Ashley Layne husband Bret, Laura Saffioti, Mary Saffioti, Emerson Saffioti...Great grandchildren, Hudson, Ryder, and Farrah Layne, Steven Holley She leaves behind also many nieces and nephews who loved her.

She had a special bond with her great nephew Joseph Saffioti, and they shared many family stories together ...

Many thanks to Fishkill Rehab Center in Beacon for all their kindness and love to our Tillie, where she had many friends who loved and care for her... wake will be Sunday July 27 2-5. A Funeral Service will be held on July 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 301 Ann Street, Newburgh, NY. - September 11, 1927 ~ July 20, 2025
