Charles Saxon Baldwin Jr. - Class of 1954

    Charles Saxon Baldwin Jr. passed away on July 25th surrounded by his family. He was 88 years old. Charles was born January 09, 1937 in Newburgh NY.

Charles was a proud farmer for most of his life. Charles owned Baldwin's Farm Market and orchards with his dad for many years. In his later farmer career, he was especially known for having the best peaches in town. Charles was a veteran of the Air Force.

Charles is predeceased by his father, Charles Baldwin Sr, his mother Beatrice Baldwin, his brother William Baldwin, and his sister Patsy Baldwin.

Charles is survived by his wife of 64 years, Noreen Baldwin, sister Diane Klienschmidt, his sons Timothy Baldwin, David (Joanne) Baldwin, Todd (Kate) Baldwin, and his daughter Pamela Garitta. His grandchildren Michael (Cassandra) Garitta, Emily (Eric) Hayes, Kayla Garitta, Elizabeth Baldwin, Charles Baldwin, Allison Baldwin, and Jessica Baldwin. Charles also was adored by his three great grandchildren Liliana Garitta, Emmett Garitta, and Kane Hayes.

He was an active community member who served his community as a firefighter and fire chief for many years in the Middle Hope Fire Department. Charles loved to be outdoors whenever he had a chance. He was a lifetime member of Beaver Brook Rod and Gun Club.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2025 from 3:00-6:00 at the DiDonato Funeral Home in Marlboro, NY.
