John (Jack) E. Adams, age 88 of Utica, NY passed away on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025 at the Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Chittenango, NY. He was born October 3rd, 1936 in Newburgh, NY. Son of Percy and Hazel Adams. He attended Fredonia University, studying music, before moving on to complete his Masters at Columbia University. While attending Fredonia, he met his late wife Dale Adams, who was, as he would remind us all, the love of his life. The two shared over 60 years of marriage and were blessed with two sons. He joined the U.S Army, and proudly served as a member of the West Point Band for the duration of his service. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
