Kathryn Eisenhardt MacDowell - Class of 1960

  Kathryn MacDowell of Montgomery, formerly of Chatham, NY and a homemaker, entered into rest February 10, 2009 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 67.

The daughter of the late Richard J. and Estelle Brundage Eisenhardt, she was born January 26, 1942 in Newburgh, NY.

She was Past Superintendent of Chatham Methodist Church and Sunday School.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, James MacDowell, at home; three sons: David "Chip" Sherwood and his wife, Debbie, Stephen Sherwood and his wife, Sheryl, both of Newburgh, and Robert Sherwood and his wife, Carrie of Tennessee; two step-children, James M. MacDowell of Volatie and Rickie Ann Vosburgh of Latham; two sisters, Louise McAfee of Wallkill and Rose Malloy and husband, Frank of Newburgh; two brothers, WM Eisenhardt and wife, Joan of Ithaca and Richard J. Eisenhardt and wife, Arlene of Salisbury Mills; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held February 28, at 11 a.m. at Gardnertown Methodist Church.
