Eric St. Clair Davis - Class of 1976

      Eric St. Clair Davis, age 61, of 40 Meadow St. Chicopee, Ma., died Sept. 12, 2019 at his home. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Harold Davis and Joyce F. Mullings Davis Rollins. Educated in the local schools, he graduated from the Newburgh Free Academy, Newburgh, N.Y. and entered the U.S. Navy and graduated from the Aviation Maintenance School. He then served aboard the USS Nimitz as a Maintenance Technician. Upon his re enlistment in 1982, he later was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan.

Upon his subsequent discharge from active duty in 1986, he served with the Naval Reserve. Eric then enrolled in and ultimately became a licensed Bus Driver in the Albany, N.Y. area. Eric came to make his home with Soldier On in several years ago.

He is survived by his 2 sisters, Ms. Lynda Davis of Newburgh, and Leslye J. Rollings Smith in Allen, Tx. and his brother, Earl C. Davis of Boston, Ma., and his uncle Lawrence Mullings of Boston, Ma. and his niece and two nephews and his cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning, Sept. 27th at 10:30 AM at Soldier On, 360 W. Housatonic St. Pittsfield with the Rev. A. Peter Gregory, Chaplin at Soldier On, officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Veterans Columbarium there.
