  Dwayne Delmar McGriff  "Smash"� Was born on November 15th 1969 in Newburgh, NY. He was the child of Monica McGriff and lived in Newburgh, NY but made his way to his family in South Carolina. Attended Newburgh Free Academy and had a passion for cooking. He met his significant life partner Kelly Johnson and they had four children
Tre'sean Wiggins, Tevin Johnson, Monica McGriff and Dominique Williams. Apart from them his sons, Dwayne McGriff Jr, Tysheek McGriff, Tyleaf McGriff and Arieon McGriff. Along with his brother Lawrence McGriff and sister Kelly Drummond McGriff.Leaving behind to cherish his memories he has a host of grandchildren including his fur grandbaby Sasha.
Above all, Dwyane was a comedian. He always found a way to make you smile and laugh.
