Robert (Bob) A. Aliberto, 74, of Rhinebeck, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023 at his home. Born on May 27th, 1948, in Yorktown Heights, NY, he was the son of the late Charles H and Antoinette (Landi) Aliberto. Bob was a respected member of the Shelby American Automobile Club (SAAC) and was a writer and contributor for various Mustang publications. In retirement, Bob enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson (really fast), restoring antique pocket watches, and helping others. Bob could always be counted on to try to repair any broken item that was brought to him by family and friends. Bob is survived by his sister in law, Evelyn Aliberto; his nieces and nephews, Charles J. Aliberto, Tom Allen, Doug Allen, Regina Deemer, Kathy Goei, Tambre Tondryk, Jodi Obrochta, Patricia Cargain, and Gail Landi; along with numerous extended family, friends, and Mustang enthusiasts. In addition to his parents, a sister, Florence Landi, and his brother, Charles A. Aliberto predecease him. A Celebration of Bob's life will be held at Lime Rock Raceway, CT on Saturday, February 25th at 4 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Burnett & White Funeral Homes 91 E.
