Catherine Palamidas Cory - Sadly our beautiful Mom has passed away. July 11th, 1929 - November 17th, 2017. Sharing a residency between; Newburgh, NY and Boca Raton, Fl. She sadly left us to be with her beloved husband- Joseph Cory, who has been waiting for her since 1981. The daughter of the late Gregory & Julia Palamidas. Graduated from NFA, Newburgh, NY in 1948. Mom was a Hairdresser for 65 years, both in NY & Fl. Her surviving family are her four daughters; Debora Hardy & Husband John, Susan Rohatsch & Husband Rich, Joann Saffioti & Husband James, Stephanie Schwetz & Husband Dale. Grandchildren; Joseph Hardy, who she helped raise for the first 10 years of his life., Joseph Saffioti, Rebecca Periu & Husband Austin, Sara Saffioti. Also her Great Granddaughter; Katherine Julia Hardy. Her sister; Julia Byington & brother; Gregory Palamidas Jr. Her niece Patricia Taegder & nephew Bobby Byington. And of course all of her spoiled, four legged fur-babies. There will be no services, no flowers, but instead - A Celebration of Her Life, which will be announced later on Facebook, pages of - Stephanie Schwetz in Florida or JoAnn Cory Saffioti in NY. If you wish to make a donation, in the Memory of Our Mother please consider an Animal Shelter or Rescue of your choice, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Alzheimer’s Research, Hospice or any charity you prefer.
Mom, you have guided us through some of the very toughest times and have shared with us the best of times. May you rest in peace and be comforted in our Daddy’s arms forever. We all will miss you dearly, Love Your Girls and Family
