Bernadette Yozzo Gillespie - To much of our dismay with a heavy heart and fond memories we celebrate Bernadette Gillespie who has recently moved on to the next journey in life.

Bernadette Y. Gillespie, entered into rest on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at her residence in Ft. Meyers, FL.

Daughter of the late Augustine J. Yozzo, Sr., and Martha M. (Hill) Yozzo, she was born on October 4, 1954 in Newburgh, NY.

Bernadette was not only a beloved and respected Real Estate Icon, she was a devoted mother who lived for her son, a wonderful strong wife and friend. She touched the lives of many people. Those who had the privilege to know her were blessed by her integrity, strength and energy that she carried with her and portrayed to others. To be sad was not her wishes. Remember and cherish the memories you may have with her and celebrate the wonderful life she lived. Well traveled, with many adventures, her legacy and heart felt love will last forever. Knowing she is at peace, we can enjoy her loving memories.

She was survived by her son, Jason Gillespie; her husband, James “Skip” Terwilliger; and multiple beloved family members and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life in memory of Bernadette for all that cherished her on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at White & Venuto Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh, NY 12550.

(As seen on Facebook) It is with a very heavy heart that I share the passing of a true real estate icon and an amazing, strong woman, Bernadette Gillespie, who left us this morning. 10/12/25.. Bernadette was not only a respected professional and an inspiration in the real estate community, but she was also a devoted mother, wife aunt, sister, cousin, and friend. She touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her with her warmth, honesty, and incredible strength.
