Janie Favoino - Class of 1967

    Janie L. Favoino passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, in Newburgh, New York. She was born on December 13, 1949, in New York City to Albert Favoino and Juanita Bozeman Favoino.

Janie was married to the late John Conway. https://www.nfayearbooks.com/mboard3/msg/6021.html  Throughout her life, she found great joy in exploring new places through travel and was known for her love of reading. A devoted fan of crossword puzzles, she delighted in the challenge and satisfaction they brought.

She is survived by her sister, Sue Favoino, as well as cousins and friends who will remember her with affection.

The family would like to give a sincere thank you to the staff of Kaplan Family Hospice and to her home health aides.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd, from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Brooks Funeral Home located at 481 Gidney Avenue, Newburgh, NY 12550.

A Mass of the Christian burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church at 10:00am on Monday, November 3rd, located at 301 Ann St, Newburgh, NY 12550.

A burial will follow at Orange County Veteran Cemetery located at 111 Craigville Rd., Goshen, NY 10924.

In lieu of flowers the family of Janie would encourage donations in her name to Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh Inc., Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 2615, Newburgh, NY 12550.
