Charlotte Lilley Todaro - Class of 1948

    Charlotte Lilley Todaro, passed away six days before her 95th birthday at home in Haddon Heights surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her devoted Husband Ernest in 1995 and a son-in-law, Walter Raymond. She is survived by her son, David Todaro and his wife Kathleen; daughters, Celeste Todaro Raymond and Vidette Todaro-Franceschi and her husband, Michael. Also survived by six grandchildren: Virginia, Laura, Tara, David, Christian and Brandon; four great grandchildren: Michael, Vidette, Nicholas and Lyla; and three great-great grandchildren: Noah, Nicco and Xaria. Charlotte was born in Newburgh, New York, eventually settling in Brooklyn. She was a 1951 graduate of the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and enjoyed a long career as a professional Registered Nurse. Eventually she and her husband Ernest moved to Toms River, NJ. After his death, Charlotte continued working as an RN for a brief time and then became a licensed realtor, working for Weichert in Brick for 12 years as a top producer. Through her work as an RN, and then as a realtor, she made a profound difference in many people's lives. Charlotte always found great joy with her family and had a special bond with one of the family dogs, Ollie. She enjoyed country line dancing and was often out with her friends dancing along the Jersey shore beaches. She loved being out in nature and especially working in the garden. Relatives and friends are invited Saturday, December 27 to St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Fourth Avenue and Kings Highway. Haddon Heights, NJ where a Mass of Resurrection will begin at 10:30a.m. Inurnment will take place privately in Mary of the Lakes Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the National Audubon Society, 225 Varick Street, New York, NY 10014 ( www.audubon.org ).
