Jeffrey Michael Sanders, 48, of Nashua, NH, transitioned to the spirit world on January 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, music, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Born on December 26, 1977, in Middletown, CT, to Richard Sanders Sr. and Margaret (Winters) Sanders, Jeff was raised in Rhode Island and New York State. It was there that he developed the character and discipline that would define his life, earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout before graduating from Newburgh Free Academy. He later continued his education at Nashua Community College graduating with an Associates Degree in General Studies.

To know Jeff was to know a man of deep curiosity and a vast, eclectic heart. Nowhere was this more evident than in his love for music. His playlists knew no boundaries, spanning from the raw energy of Heavy Metal to the storytelling of Country and the rhythm of Rap. However, his most cherished performances took place every Sunday morning in his living room, where he would put on a spirited "concert" for his wife, singing along to the Gaither Vocal Band (Christian Music).

Jeff was a "friend to everyone," a rare soul who moved through the world with a gentle presence. He possessed the thoughtful habit of sending a text or placing a call just to check in, ensuring that the people in his life always felt seen and remembered. He found beauty in the simple things: a long drive to nowhere, a competitive game of pool, a stimulating conversation, or a quiet afternoon of movies and napping. Above all, he cherished his lunch dates with his mother, mother-in-law, and his best friend—moments of connection that were truly the highlights of his month.

Jeff is survived by his doting wife, Ann-Marie Sanders of Nashua, NH, his mother, Peggy Sanders of Kennebunk, ME, his best friend, Judy McCauley of Somersworth, NH, his brother, Rick Sanders of San Mateo, CA and his mother-in-law, Kathy Lescoe of Farmington, CT. Jeff was predeceased by his father, Richard Sanders Sr. of York, ME, his aunt, Kathy Lynch of PA, and his father-in-law, Ed Lescoe of Farmington, CT.

He was a devoted husband, a thoughtful friend, and a deeply loving son and brother. Jeff will forever be remembered as a kind and gentle soul who cared profoundly for his fellow humans and left the world a warmer place.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Friday, May 15th in St. Christopher' Church, 4 Barrell Lane, York, Maine. Burial will follow at First Parish Cemetery, 180 York St., York, ME.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Homes for Our Troops (www.hfotusa.org) 6 Main Street Taunton, MA 02780 - December 26, 1977 - January 18, 2026 (age 48)
