Harry Bernard Price, age 80, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026. Born on April 18, 1945, in Levittown, Long Island, he grew up in Newburgh, New York, where he formed the roots of a life defined by resilience, humor, and deep love for those around him.
Harry dedicated 12 years of service to St. Luke's Hospital as a sterilization technician and later spent 9 years with IBM Corporation. On December 13, 1975, he married the love of his life, Diane, and together they made their home in Newburgh until moving to Trophy Club, Texas, in 1986.
A gifted gardener, Harry found joy in nurturing life from the soil. There was truly nothing he couldn't do. Known for his quick wit and playful spirit, he was a natural jokester who loved to make others laugh. Despite the challenges of his disabilities, he embraced life with remarkable passion and determination. His strong will was matched only by his kindness, gratitude, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Horatio Price. He is survived by his devoted wife, Diane; his brother, Robert (Ann) Price; several nieces and nephews; and many cherished friends whose lives were brightened by his presence.
A visitation will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall St., Grapevine, Texas, on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 Wildwood Lane, Grapevine, Texas, on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
