Kathryn A Geri Biasini - Class of 1946

Kathryn A Geri Biasini passed away peacefully on Saturday February 28, 2026 at home. She was 96 years old. Kathryn was born on May 23, 1929 in Roseton NY. She was the daughter of Frank and Catherine (Vitay) Geri.
Kathryn attended Roseton School, and graduated from NFA. She was an administrative assistant for the Town of Newburgh Engineers Office when she retired. Previous to the Town she worked at Mount Saint Mary's College in the Treasurers Office. She was also the bookkeeper at the Beau Rivage Restaurant, and a secretary for WA Smith and Son Insurance in her early years. When Central Hudson was building the power plant in Roseton, she was the secretary for Burns and Roe. She was also a member of the Red Hats of Port St Lucie Florida, and the Catholic Daughters of America in Newburgh. She was a member and attended Cursillo. As a teenager she was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Choir. When she was married in 1950 she attended St Francis of Assisi in Newburgh, and later St Mary's of Marlboro attending Our Lady of Mercy in Roseton where she was baptized, confirmed, and married.
Survivors include her daughters Kathy (Steve) Morhous of Milton NY, Teresa (Bruce) Green of Marlboro NY, MaryAnne (Jim) Lostagio-Jellema of Fort Myers FL, and son Francis Biasini of Newburgh NY. She had 12 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by sister-in-law Albina Giglia of Marlboro NY, and several nieces and nephews.
Kathryn was predeceased by her husband Frank, and sisters Ethel Kenger and Rose Crossetta, and nephew John Kenger.
Kathryn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved watching game shows, and she was an avid Mets fan and went to the spring training games in Florida.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday March 4, 2026 from 4pm to 7pm.
The funeral mass will be on Thursday March 5, 2026 at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Roseton at 11 am.
Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Newburgh.
The family would like to thank the caregivers who came to the house, and the nurses and doctors at St Lukes Hospital in Newburgh particularly Dr.Thomas Reed.
