Clinton Bonnett - Class of 1982

      Clinton H. Bonnett, of Milford, PA, formerly of Newburgh, NY, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was 61.

Son of Doris (Crispell) Bonnett and the late Harry C. Bonnett, he was born December 3, 1964 in Newburgh, NY.

Clint was a recently retired airport firefighter for the State of New York DMNA at Stewart ANGB, Newburgh, NY, and served in the Air Force. He enjoyed BMX racing and sharing his knowledge and passion, years later, with his son, Matthew. Adoring father and Grandfather to his daughter Beth and her children. He was a talented woodworker, always creating and fixing things. He was a member of the Matamoras Rod and Gun Club, and also a member of the Orange County Hazmat Team.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Susan Bonnett; his mother, Doris Bonnett; his children, Beth Bonnett of Dutchess County; Matthew Bonnett and Jennifer Galvez of Orange County. Six grandchildren also survive him; one nephew, Michael Ostrander; a cousin, Melissa Blair and his dog, Murphy.

Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the Cronomer Valley Fire Company, 296 North Plank Road, Newburgh, NY 12550.

Firematic Services and Military Honors will follow at 3:30 pm at the Fire Company. Repast to follow after Honors.
