Laura Cosentino Harth - Class of 1968

Laura Cosentino Harth, 76, passed away peacefully on March 22nd, 2026, in Beacon, New York. She was born on June 5th, 1949, in Calabria, Italy.
Laura devoted 34 years of her life to education as an English teacher at Marlboro Central Middle School, where she inspired generations of students with her dedication and passion for learning. After retiring, she continued her commitment to helping others by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, assisting in building homes for those in need. She also found joy in tap dancing as a proud member of the TNT Tappers.
Laura was a loving and devoted family woman who cherished time spent with her loved ones. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, outstanding character, and the deep care she showed to everyone around her.
She is survived by her daughter, Adrienne Harth Bodnar, her husband Brian, and her grandson Declan; her sister Annamaria Ocana and her husband Lorenzo; her brothers Giuseppe Cosentino, and Carmelo Cosentino and his wife Toni; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, March 25th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home at 481 Gidney Ave in Newburgh, New York. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Thursday, March 26th at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laura’s memory to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh.
Laura's legacy of love, service, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew her. - June 5, 1949 ~ March 22, 2026
