Keith Libolt "Bucky" - Class of 1964

Keith H. Libolt, 80, of Gardiner, NY entered into the Kingdom of God, Thursday, April 2, 2026.
He was born on June 17, 1945, at home in Newburgh, NY, to the late Jesse and Mildred (Freer) Libolt, he was the youngest of nine children. He was preceded in death by his eight brothers and sisters: Margaret, June, Shirley, Mildred, Doris, Joseph, John (Jack), Randolph (Pete).
Keith Graduated Newburgh Free Academy in 1964 And married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Lorraine Jannotti in 1965. They had three children, Keith P. Brian and Kirt.
Keith was an apprentice under his father-in-law, Phillip Jannotti, in the construction business, Libolt and Sons in 1972. His son Keith P. eventually took over the business but Keith H. continued working serving his son with wisdom and direction. Keith H. also treasured the time he worked with his grandson Keith the 3rd in the family business.
Keith started as a volunteer firefighter with the Middlehope Fire Department and with over 30 years of dedicated service, rose to become Chief, Commissioner, and Chaplin. The standards he set in the Middlehope Department were adopted and established in other fire companies throughout the state.
Keith gave his life to the Lord in 1982 and went on to live as a devoted and faithful servant of God. Keith and Lorraine became Reverends in 1996 and Apostles in 2010 with the Walking in the Light Ministries in Detroit, MI. They helped sow the seeds of churches in NY, Canada and Detroit along with helping ministries in Africa.
Keith is survived by his wife, Lorraine Libolt of Gardiner, a son, Keith P. Libolt of Highland, their daughter in law Donna of New Paltz, a grandson, Keith H. Libolt and his wife Erica of New Paltz, a granddaughter, Kaylyn Libolt-Bantel and her husband, Matthew of New Paltz and five great grandchildren Asher, Beckett, Caden, Azariah and Anastasia.
A memorial service will be held at the Hudson Valley Christian Church, 100 Grand Street, Newburgh on Saturday, April 11th at 10am with fellowship and luncheon to follow.
Interment will be privately held.
