Ronald Westhausser - Class of 1954

    Ronald P. Westhausser of Highland, NY entered into rest Tuesday, May 26, 2026. He was 89.

Born in Staten Island on October 3, 1936, Ronald was the son the late Paul and Maria (Rommel) Westhausser.

Ronald graduated from NFA in 1954 and attended Orange County Community College. He served in the NYS National Guard.

He was a retired master welder for Local 417 in the Town of Newburgh and later was the Park Ranger for Chadwick Lake Park in the Town of Newburgh.

Ronald enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf. He was a member of Black Rock Fish and Game Club.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife, Charlotte (Hohn) Westhausser at home, loving children; Mark Westhausser (Stacey), Michelle Conero (Tony), Susan Flanagan (William), and Edward Flanagan (Amy). Grandchildren: Espi, Nikki, Jen, Taylor, Lainey and great-grandchild, EJ.

In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his son Ronald Westhausser Jr.

Visitation for family and friends will take place Friday, May 29th from 4 to 7 pm at White, Venuto & Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 North Plank Rd. (Rt32) Town of Newburgh.
