Marvin Abraham Hollub, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, builder, and community leader, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, at the age of 93.

Born on May 9, 1933, in the Bronx, New York, to Harry and Ida Hollub, Marvin grew up in Newburgh, New York, where he met his high school sweetheart and wife of 71 years, Amelia ("Mimi").

In 1954, Marvin became one of the early custom home builders in Pinecrest, Florida. Through hard work, honesty, and vision, he helped shape the community and build a family business that continues to this day.

More than anything, Marvin loved his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father to Helene and Harry, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather who celebrated the lives, milestones, and accomplishments of every generation of his family.

Marvin was also a founding member of Temple Beth Am and a longtime supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. As the oldest surviving juvenile diabetic in the United States, he inspired countless others with his resilience, kindness, and generous spirit.

He is survived by his wife, Mimi; his children, Helene Hollub and Harry Hollub (Amy); his grandchildren, Aaron Hollub (Maura), Morgan Hollub (Joshua Brownell), Shayna Hollub (Charles Anderson III), Rylee Hollub (Matthew Michaels), and Aliya Hollub; and his great-grandchildren, Lucas and Clara Hollub, Duane and Ada Anderson, and Maverick Brownell.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes (Formerly JDRF) at Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes (Formerly JDRF) in Marvin's memory.

May his memory be a blessing.
