    Joseph M. Rhoda, of Newburgh, entered into rest on Monday, July 13, 2026. He was 81.

Son of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Crisci) Rhoda, he was born July 28, 1944 in Newburgh, NY.

"Joe" as he was known by family and friends was a retired owner operator of Rhoda Realities, Inc., Newburgh, NY. He was a graduate of the University of Miami with an MBA. He loved his college days and has been a lifelong supporter of the University. Joe was also the owner operator of many night clubs, restaurants and catering facilities including the Palm Club. He enjoyed golfing and tennis in his younger days and was a huge sports fan. Joe loved life and living life. He was also a snowbird splitting his time between Newburgh and Dania Beach, Florida.

Survivors include his long time companion, Linda Edge Nichols; a sister, Mary Ann Rhoda of Hawaii and many cousins.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Frank Rhoda.

Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, July 22, 2026, 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh, NY.
