Wayne Vradenburgh - Class of 1966

    Wayne R. Vradenburgh, a lifelong in resident of Walden NY , passed away at home peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in the City of Newburgh on January 18, 1947, and spent his life building a legacy of hard work, devotion to family, and kindness to those who knew him.

Wayne was an avid sportsman who found great joy in the outdoors. Whether hunting at hunting camp, fishing with his buddies, or simply enjoying nature, he appreciated the simple pleasures that life had to offer. He was a proud carpenter whose craftsmanship and strong work ethic reflected the values he carried throughout his life. Later, he continued serving his community as a custodian at Montgomery Elementary School in the Valley Central School District, where he was known for his dedication, dependability, and friendly nature.

Above all else, Wayne was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and buddy to all his hunting camp buddies He shared a lifetime of love with his beloved wife, Diane T. Vradenburgh. Together they built a family rooted in love, loyalty, and lasting memories.

Wayne leaves behind his loving wife, Diane T. Vradenburgh; his sons, Wayne R. Vradenburgh Jr. and Todd Vradenburgh; his daughter-in-law, Milana Tepermayster; and his cherished grandchildren, Jacob Vradenburgh, Madison Vradenburgh, and Matthew Vradenburgh. His family was the center of his world, and he took immense pride in watching each generation grow.

Wayne will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering work ethic, generous heart, and the love he gave so freely to his family and friends. Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he instilled in those fortunate enough to know him.

His life was a reminder that true greatness is measured not by wealth or recognition, but by the lives we touch, the family we cherish, and the example we leave behind.

Big Wayne will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
