Helen Feliciano Lahey - Class of 1975

  Helen Feliciano Lahey, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, at the age of 69.

Born on January 31, 1957, in Warwick, New York, Helen was the daughter of Francisco Feliciano and Martha Rodriguez. She graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1975 and devoted her life to family, hard work, and caring for others.

Helen shared more than 50 wonderful years with the love of her life, Kevin M. Lahey. They were married on October 29, 1978, and built a home filled with love and laughter. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her two sons, Kevin S. Lahey and Brian M. Lahey, and later her three beloved grandchildren.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, dancing, and traveling. She was especially known for her delicious rice and beans, a family favorite that brought loved ones together around the table. Above all, Helen will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Helen is survived by her husband, Kevin M. Lahey; her sons, Kevin S. Lahey and Brian M. Lahey; her grandchildren, Cataleya Lahey, Maddex Lahey, and Maya Lahey; and her siblings, Jeffrey Feliciano, Stephen Feliciano, Wendy Torres, Jose Torres, Jacqueline Torres, and Caroline Torres. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Francisco Feliciano and Martha Rodriguez, and her brother, Louis Feliciano.

A visitation and celebration of Helen's life will be held in Tonawanda, New York, at a date to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Buffalo Hospice in gratitude for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Helen and her family during her final days.
