Laura Jane Gardner, 90 of Newburgh, New York passed away on August 12, 2026.

She was born on November 21, 1935 in Newburgh to Myron DeForest and Laura M. Bronk. She grew up surrounded by a large loving Italian family, many friends, good food, music and dancing.

Laura graduated from Newburgh Free Academy and worked for many years as a HR director at the West Point Exchange. She was known for giving out candy, gum and other trinkets to everyone she met. She loved shopping, dancing, traveling and decorating for every holiday.

She is survived by her grandson Theodore Davis (Teddy) many cousins,five nephews, a niece and many devoted friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother DeForest M. Bronk and her daughter Michelle G. Davis..

A graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 22nd at 11:00am at Calvary Cemetery located at 304 Walsh Avenue, New Windsor, NY. - November 21, 1935 ~ August 12, 2026
