    Cheryl L. Hollenbeck Taylor age 51, passed away Friday, August 14th.

She was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy in 1994 and was a lifelong resident to the Town of New Windsor.

Cheryl was a devoted wife and mother who loved to go camping, having campfires and just spending time with her family. Her love of crafting showed with her gifts to every family member on special occasions, no one was ever left out. Cheryl's love for holidays showed through many decorations inside her home and out.

At any given time she would sit and talk for hours to anyone that would listen, especially her family.

Cheryl is survived by the love of her life and husband of 26 years Robert W Taylor; son, Jacob M Taylor; daughter, Sarah L Taylor; sister, Darleen Van Voorhis; brother-in-law, Rodney Van Voorhis; brother, Raymond C Montanya Jr; brother Ronald B Montanya; sister-in-law, Cindy Montanya: Constance Perez who was always there for her since birth (Aunt Connie) Numerous aunt's, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and even great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lauraine Hollenbeck whom she cared for until their passing.

Visitation will be on Tuesday August 18, 2026, at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, from 6PM to 8PM. A Funeral Home Service will take place on Wednesday August 19, 2026, at 11Am. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in New Windsor. - February 25, 1975 ~ August 14, 2026
