Nicholas T. DiNapoli, Sr., of Newburgh, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, August
18, 2026, he was 66.
Son of the late Manuel and Phyllis (Turck) DiNapoli,
he was born August 1, 1960 in Newburgh, NY.
"Nicky D." as he was known to
family and friends, was a bus driver for VW Transportation, Newburgh, NY. He was
a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Newburgh, NY. He was also a
member of the William Street Social Club. Nicky D. loved his job transporting
special needs children. He enjoyed playing Lotto, dabbling in the stock market
and listening to oldies and country music. He also enjoyed swimming, was a huge
Elvis fan, and had many fond memories of trips to Wildwood, NJ with his family.
Nicky D. was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, uncle and great
uncle.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. DiNapoli; two sons,
Nicholas T. DiNapoli, Jr. of Newburgh, NY and Robert (Kimberly) Jennings of
Highland, NY; a sister, Jeni Maria and brother in law Thomas Sylcox of Newburgh,
NY; two grandchildren, Owen and Adelynn Jennings; sister in laws, Nancy (Dennis)
Joyce, Frances (James) Hoppenstedt and Norma Patterson; niece and nephews,
Joseph (Christina) Sylcox, Thomas Sylcox, and Jessica Pesavento Perez; great
niece, Giavanna and great nephew, Manny; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a
brother, Joseph DiNapoli, a brother in law, Robert Patterson, Jr., and father
and mother in law Robert and Mary Patterson, Sr.
Visitation for family
and friends will take place Friday, August 21, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at
White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road,
Newburgh, NY 12550. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 11:30 am on
Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh, NY.
Burial
will follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
