Mary DeCunzo of New Windsor passed away on August 20. She was the beloved wife of Anthony DeCunzo, who predeceased her.

Mary survives by her children, Pamela and Anthony; her grandchildren, Rana and Desiree; and her great-granddaughter, Brionna and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Newburgh, New York, Mary was the daughter of Michael and Carmela. She completed her education and attended business school before moving to New York City, where she began her professional career. She later returned to Newburgh and worked at West Point.

After marrying Anthony, Mary settled in New Windsor, where she served as Secretary for the Town of New Windsor. Her dedication and professionalism earned her recognition as a National Secretary.

Following her retirement, Mary enjoyed traveling and volunteering at Cornwall Hospital, where she generously gave her time to help others. She also had a lifelong passion for dancing. During the Big Band era, she won several dance competitions and was a proud member of the dance troupe known as "Black Out."

Mary will be remembered for her grace, dedication, and joyful spirit. Though she is no longer with us, her memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.

We take comfort in imagining her reunited with her family and dancing among the angels. - September 16, 1926 ~ August 20, 2026

A graveside service and burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery at 1:00pm Tuesday, August 25th, located at 304 Walsh Ave, New Windsor, NY.
