    Mary Ann Clark Barnes - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Ann Barnes, 80, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Mary Ann entered into eternal rest on August 21, 2026. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Mary Ann was born on October 15, 1945, in Newburgh, New York, to Frank and Margaret Clark. She spent much of her life in Cornwall, New York, before making New Smyrna Beach her full-time home six years ago, a place that became very special to her.

More than anything, Mary Ann cherished being a mother and grandmother. She devoted herself to raising her two sons. She took great pride in her family and treasured her four grandchildren. Mary Ann was outgoing, social and full of personality. She had a wonderful sense of humor and delighted in making people laugh. Mary Ann was a devout Catholic, whose faith was an important part of who she was. She had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, often rescuing them from shelters. Her hobbies include going on drives with Larry, spending time near the river and ocean, and marveling in the natural wonders of the Florida wildlife and landscape.

She loved to shop and was a thoughtful and enthusiastic gift giver. She was very fashionable and always well dressed. Mary Ann was a wonderful cook and a gracious hostess. She was a bird lover.

Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband, Larry, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage; her children, Luke Barnes (Danielle) and Brennan Barnes (Lucy); her grandchildren Brennan, Sadie, Farrah and Roman; her sisters, Christine Colombo and Carol Decker; her nieces and nephews, Patrick, Kristen, Stephanie, Jim, Pam, Jason and Jacob; and her three dearest friends Linda, Kathy and Jodi.

In addition to her parents and beloved stepfather, Ambrose Huber, Mary Ann is predeceased by her sister, Regina Tesman, and her nephew, Joshua Tesman.

Mary Ann leaves behind a lifetime of love and faith. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her generous heart, and her love of animals. - October 15, 1945 - August 21, 2026

Following cremation, a mass will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Florida Pointer Rescue in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
