Kathleen Anne Murphy Hill - Class of 1963 - And so the story begins of the beautiful earthen vessel that GOD handpicked to bring me to this planet for such a time as this! On May 6th, 1944, Kathleen Anne Murphy was born to John Murphy & Adeline Kibe of Oyster Bay, NY.

She is predeceased by her husband, John H. Hill III, and her 1st born daughter, Pamela M. Trent.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her 2nd daughter, Robin V. Soares "Hill" and 4 grandchildren: Alfred Jones II, Sabrina V. Soares, Joshua C. Trent & Dante J. Troccolla. Also many great friends; too many to list but her true BFF for many years was Everna King- her ride or die prayer partner.

She graduated in 1963 from Newburgh Free Academy Highschool and from Waterbury State Technical College in 1985 with an Associates in Science Data processing technology.

She played many outstanding roles as she appeared on this planet; everything from working over 25 yrs. as a computer programmer, preparing peoples taxes at H&R Block, to volunteering at hospice, to running the tape room at Living Faith for many years.

She was very proud of her daughters and grandchildren. Any time someone would compliment one of us she would be sure to remind us that we got all our good looks from her!

Her favorite things to say were "It is what it is", "No charge ", "I am who I am", and last but not least, "I'm just trying to get all my ducks in a row". Well mom you did well and I got it from here. I will try to keep the rest of your ducks in a row. Go to your eternal rest in the fathers arms. But if I know you, you will be too busy dancing and celebrating with all the saints who have gone before you!!! Save me a spot on heaven's dance floor. Your story isn't over! To be continued……

At the family's request there will be no calling hours or graveside funeral. Instead, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association/Dementia find a cure of your choosing or plant a tree in her honor.
